Once again for the 2011 season Volvo is supporting K-PAX Racing in the World Challenge Series. K-PAX fielded two S60s in the GT class during the 2010 season. During the 2010 campaign, K-PAX Racing won 5 races, captured 8 pole positions, won the Drivers' Championship with Randy Pobst, and won the Manufacturers' Championship for Volvo.
For 2011, K-PAX will defend their Drivers' and Manufacturers' Championships with two new, totally re-designed 2011 Volvo S60s in the GT Class. K-PAX will also campaign two Volvo C30s in the touring class, doubling the Volvo presence on the track and in the media.
The Volvos are certain to garner significant attention from the press and fans alike. From a pure marketing perspective, the K-PAX Volvos performance and driving dynamics will be showcased by competing and winning against the likes of factory Porsches, Vipers, Corvettes, Nissan GTRs and Cadillac CTS-Vs.
